Are you fascinated with drones? Would you like to learn how to fly a drone safely and capture amazing footages from the air? Look no further than Makerwiz Summer Day Camp: FLY IT!

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) or Remotely Piloted Aerial Systems (RPAS), commonly known as Drones, are aircrafts with no human pilot aboard. They have wide ranging applications, including military, commercial, scientific, agricultural, policing, product delivery, aerial imaging and recreation such as FPV (first person view) drone racing. In this 5-day Summer Camp, participants will hear about the story behind drones, find out how popular quadcopters work, and learn about safety guidelines and precautions before taking off. Flying demonstrations using recreational Hubson drones and prosumer DJI drones will be presented. Campers will also have a chance to program and race with Ryze Tello drones. Basic concepts in aerial Videography will be discussed. Moreover, campers will compete in teams for prizes, and everyone will be able to take home a drone loot bag.

Camp includes Movie Outing on Tuesday and Pizza Lunch on Friday, as well as outdoor activities in the afternoons (weather permitting). Due to our focus on small group, project-based learning, spaces are extremely limited. Register ASAP! Early Bird tickets are on sale until February 28 only.
