3D Printing is All the Rage!

Age 8-16

Download and scan things to print in 3D!

Learn about the basics of a 3D printer, how to download your favourite 3D design files from Thingiverse, use MakerBot software to print your object, use Printshop to customize and print, get yourself scanned by a 3D scanner, and print out your 3D portrait.

Each participant will be able to bring home one 3D print.

• All materials included, but BYOD – PC or Mac notebook, preferably purchased post-2010
• Participants registered in both 3D Printing 101 and 3D Printing 102 may be eligible for the Children’s Arts Tax Credit.
