Age 16+

3D Printing (aka “additive manufacturing”) is poised to drastically change our lives in years to come.

Learn about the basics of a 3D printer, how to download your favourite 3D design files from Thingiverse, use MakerBot software to print your object, use Printshop to customize and print, get yourself scanned by a 3D scanner, and print out your 3D portrait.

Each participant will bring home two 3D printouts.
