In this workshop participants will learn how to create original or derived 3D designs using CAD apps.  The programs explored will be TinkerCad, Meshmixer, SketchUp and DesignSpark Mechanical.  Furthermore, participants will gain hands on experience in popular 3D printing apps to actually make their creations.  These printing apps include MakerBot Desktop, Cubify app and Cura.  The aim is to provide new 3D designers and makers with maximum hands-on exposure to affordable 3D printing solutions and CAD software that are currently avialble within the allotted time for the workshop, such that they gain the know-how to continue exploring on their own.
